Trim margins evenly across all pages, in-browser

Rather than cropping visually page by page, this tool applies a uniform margin cut to every page's crop box using pdf-lib, which is a fast way to trim excess white space from scanned or exported documents.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload the PDF to crop.

  2. 2

Drag the margin slider to set how many points to trim from each edge.

  3. 3

Run the tool to download the cropped document.

This tool never uploads your file. All processing happens locally in your browser using WebAssembly. Read more about how Foldr handles your data.

Frequently asked questions

What unit is the margin measured in?

Margins are set in points, where roughly 72pt equals one inch, matching standard PDF page units.

Does cropping delete content or just hide it?

It adjusts the crop box, which changes the visible page boundary. The underlying content outside that boundary is not permanently deleted from the PDF structure.
